With a little skill and a lot of luck, two coworkers on opposite ends of the country bonded over their mutual love of dogs, crafting, and their regional differences.
We also found common ground in our love of marketing, business and leadership. Over time, our conversations on everything from solving the educational gap in America to how to maintain a grain-free diet (one of us is better at that than the other) cemented our friendship and our mutual philosophies on how to effectively manage a business from the perspective of intrapenuers.
We both believe that the empowerment of employees is one of the most important things for a successful business, but can also be one of the most frightening. Without trust, communication, and education a company will start to stutter and stall. We created this blog as an avenue to share our experiences, ideas, and insights in the hopes of helping other intrapenuers and like-minded people navigate through the sometimes treacherous waters of business and marketing.
The intent of this blog is not to criticize our former employers or specific companies, we have both worked for exceptional organizations and have grown and learned immensely from these experiences.
